I was unaware of this America's Best Dance Crew drama at the time:
The theory goes that, because a Kaba-Jabba finale would have resulted in a hip-hop dance showdown featuring almost exclusively Asian faces, dial-in totals were given a, uh, "Florida tweak" to provide Boston's Status Quo crew with a protected berth for the final round.

New Choreographers Part 2: Marty Kudelka

Technically, he's not new. Marty Kudelka choreographed one routine for 2 couples on the very first So You Think You Can Dance performance show back in season 1. He'll be in the regular rotation this season. He's worked with Justin Timberlake, Pink, N'Sync, and many more.
There's an excellent video of Marty working at the Broadway Dance Center over at the Scene Interactive blog.
